I was introduced to Shane Bohen shortly after I moved to California in 2003.  I was referred to him by a friend who told me that he is a real estate professional who can help me find a perfect home.  Well, 8 years later and 5 real estate transactions in that time, I have come to know Shane Bohen as a consummate professional, an expert in real estate, a customer service connoisseur and a gentleman of his word who carries himself with the utmost amount of honor and integrity. 

This past December was my most recent encounter with Shane, (and he gets better every time).  My finance and I had lived in our townhome in downtown Livermore for almost 5 years and we were ready to explore the single family home market.  We ran into Shane downtown Livermore on a Friday night in early November and we told him of out tentative plans, price range, characteristics etc.  After the very casual conversation at the restaurant, when I get to my office on Monday morning there is an email from Shane with over 20 properties profiles that fit our criteria!  Each night that week, after work, Shane took us to a few different homes and we began the selection process.  How many real estate professionals show homes from 5 pm to 8 pm, on week nights just to accommodate their clients?  Not too many, but Shane certainly does!  By Sunday, we had looked at all the homes, and the ones we liked we looked at multiple times.  By Monday, just one week later, we started negotiations with the seller for our favorite home.  On December 17^th, 2010, we closed on our “Dream Starter Home”.  We got the house we wanted and we got it for the exact price we wanted it for, thanks all to Shane.  The entire process with Shane was AMAZING!!!  Shane kept us informed each and every step of the way, everything happened on time, and because of Shane’s experience in the industry and his relationships, everything was flawless and was very smooth.

I learned very quickly after moving to Ruby Hill that my husband and I had selected a truly great neighborhood to live in and raise our children. It happened while I was out riding my bicycle. It was my first-ever loop around Ruby Hill Drive and I was so taken by the beauty of my surroundings—the lush foliage, the vineyards, the surrounding hills, the gorgeous homes, the intense blue sky-- that I wasn’t paying close enough attention to the road. I lost control of bicycle, and did a front flip over my handle bars onto the asphalt roadway. I was fine, but it knocked the wind out of me.
